Roast Van Dyke

Overview

Roast Van Dyke is the British Virgin Islands' first dedicated specialty coffee roastery, located in Soper's Hole at Tortola's West End. The operation small-batch roasts fair-trade and organic green coffee sourced from Central and South American origins including Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Colombia, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic.

Known for

  • BVI first dedicated specialty roaster
  • Soper's Hole West End Tortola location
  • Fair-trade and organic sourcing
  • Small-batch roasting in the BVI
  • Latin American and Caribbean origins

Why it matters

Before Roast Van Dyke, the BVI relied on imported roasted coffee. Establishing roasting infrastructure in a small remote-island market closes the freshness gap for both residents and Soper's Hole's heavy yacht-tourist traffic.
